Vedanta Wisdom

qualities of a bhakta

You Love God. But Does God Love You?

One often hears people talk about how much they love God. The devotion one feels for his/her favourite deity, is a matter of individual experience,  declared undebatable and beyond the realms of logic and reason. The followers of “Bhakti-Marg” are especially seen expressing their love for their Lord in rather convincing ways.

And yet, as true as their emotions are, the question that still begs an answer is, “You love God, but does God love you?”

Chapter XII of the Bhagavad Gita

In Chapter XII of the Bhagavad Gita, the Lord Himself, gives out the secret, as it were.

He presents 35 qualities of a Bhakta, and declares all those possessing them as “exceedingly dear to Me“.

Let’s together get the complete, authentic, verse-by-verse understanding of these 35 qualities with Dr. Janki Santoke.

As always, the interactive sessions will encourage questioning, debating and discussions.
