Random Harvest with a Vedantic Interpretation
October 11 @ 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Join us for the screening of the movie Random Harvest along with the Vedantic interpretation by Dr Janki Santoke.
About the movie:
Directed by Mervyn LeRoy and based on the best-selling novel by James Hilton, this sweeping romantic melodrama stars screen legends Ronald Colman and Greer Garson. The story follows a shell-shocked World War I veteran suffering from amnesia who escapes a hospital and is taken in by a warm-hearted music hall performer. The two build an idyllic, quiet life together—until a sudden accident unexpectedly restores his original memories as a wealthy aristocrat, completely erasing his recollection of the new life and true love he left behind.
A magnificent box-office triumph during the Golden Age of Hollywood, Random Harvest went on to earn seven Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture. It remains an unforgettable, beautifully acted tearjerker about memory, identity, and the enduring resilience of love.
