The Vedanta Wisdom University

Today, education is seen as a mere means of livelihood. The basic principles and values needed in
life are neglected. The best mentor to humanity is an education that gives self motivation, self
direction, and self correction.

It is the most powerful tool of humanity. Education prepares us for life and moulds us into well rounded individuals. This fosters a golden era referred to in the Indian Puranas as Satya Yuga and
when this education is neglected, it propels us to pralaya or destruction.

While anyone can currently teach Vedanta
without formal credentials, this is comparable to
practicing medicine without a degree.
Establishing professional qualifications in
Vedanta is essential for upholding teaching
standards, especially as the subject gains
importance in mainstream and school level
education.
