The Centre of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS)
The Centre of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) is a branch of the Vedanta Wisdom Trust which is focused of performing research on Vedanta in a scientific and rigorous manner. The department is to be later integrated into the upcoming Vedanta Wisdom University, the first ever Vedanta University.
The Department aims to analyze Vedantic teaching through a Contemporary Scientific lens as well and to make it accessible and comprehensible to the general public. To this effect the department plans on:
- Undertaking research on Vedantic Laws
- Relating Vedantic Laws to the present-day issues such as mental health, societal health etc.
- Making curriculums for Schools and Universities to introduce Vedanta to students at a young age.
We are seeking dedicated volunteers to join the IKS Research Team. Your skills and expertise can greatly contribute to our mission.
Roles Needed:
- Researchers:
* Academic background in research, particularly in social sciences.
* Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods. - Grant Experts:
* Knowledge of bureaucracy and grant application processes.
* Experience in writing grant proposals. - Writers and Editors:
* Talented writers for editing and proofreading.
* Skills in creating compelling narratives. - Outreach Coordinators:
* Expand our network and connect with collaborators.
* Experience in public relations or community engagement.
