In this screening of Hamlet (1969), we invite you into a shadowy world of betrayal, madness, and revenge in William Shakespeare’s ultimate theatrical tragedy. The story follows the young Prince of Denmark, who returns home from university to find his world shattered: his father, the King, has suddenly died, and his uncle has swiftly seized both the throne and the hand of his grieving mother. When the restless ghost of the dead King appears to Hamlet, revealing that he was foully murdered, the prince is set on a dark path of vengeance.
