Program Outcomes:

The curriculum spans two semesters, combining essential Vedantic studies with a variety of supplementary courses for holistic development.

Vedanta:
In-depth study of core texts, including the Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads, for philosophical understanding.
Swadharma:
Project-based learning where students explore their inherent aptitudes with mentorship to hone them for their careers.
Yoga:
Practical sessions for physical well-being through asanas and pranayama.
Sanskrit:
Foundational and conversational Sanskrit to access classical Indian texts.
Diverse Ancillary Subjects:
Including Finance, Nutrition & Dietetics, English Literature, Classical Dance, Music, Sports, Traditional Stories, Greek Mythology, Astrophysics and Clearer Thinking, and a special session for sharing skills between students called “Educate Each Other”.
Course Format:
The course is fully residential and to be conducted at Vedanta Wisdom Trust, Chinchawali Tarf Atone, Atone, Raigad District, Maharashtra 402304.
There will be no holidays.
Students will be expected to stay on campus & follow the below daily schedule:

- 05:00 a.m. – Self-study
- 06:00 a.m. – Tea(in room)
- 06:30 a.m. – Yoga
- 07:15 a.m. – Sports
- 07:45 a.m. – Shower
- 08:30 a.m. – Breakfast
- 09:30 a.m. – Class/Group Discussion
- 11:00 a.m. – Ancilliary Course
- 01:15 p.m. – Lunch
- 02:00 p.m. – Rest
- 03:00 p.m. – Self-study

- 05:00 p.m. – Swadharma
- 07:15 p.m. – Classical/Devotional music
- 08:00 p.m. – Dinner

Course Evaluation:
Marks are awarded as follows in each semester:
- 50% weightage is through Internal evaluation. This includes assignments, quizzes, group discussions, presentations, etc.
- 50% weightage is given to final exams.
Passing Percentage is 50%.
Admission Procedure:
Eligibility: Undergraduate degree in any discipline with a minimum level of NEP 5.5 (UG 3rd year degree)

- Class XII Marksheet (NEP Level 4)
- UG 3rd Year Degree & Marksheet (NEP Level 5.5) OR UG 4th Year Honors Degree & Marksheet (NEP Level 6)
Selection Criteria:
The following are the three stages of selection:
1. UG Marks
To be greater than 50%
2. Essay
Along with the admission form, submission of an essay of not more than 500 words on the reason to enroll in the course
3. Interview
With the primary course faculty and Managing Trustee of the Vedanta Wisdom Trust, Dr. Janki Santoke
Important Dates:
Admissions will be open from 15 August 2025 and close on 1 December 2025.
Note: If all seats are filled before the close date, no new admissions will be entertained. Students are requested to complete the admission formalities (e.g. submission of essays, etc) as soon as possible so that they can be scheduled for the admission interview.
Classes will start on 5 January 2026 and end on 20 December 2026.
Acharyas:
Pramukh Acharya
The primary faculty of the course is Dr. Janki Santoke. Dr Santoke has been involved in the researchand education of Vedanta for close to four decades. She is a distinguished Vedanta scholar, author, and educator. As Founder and Managing Trustee of the Vedanta Wisdom Trust, she leads the initiative to establish the world’s first Vedanta University.
She has conducted courses on Vedanta and Bhagavad Gita at colleges like NM, Mithhibai, Amity, Lady Sri Ram, O P Jindal, Symbiosis and Rishihood. She is currently on the Board of Studies of Mithibai college.
She also conducts weekly online classes on Vedanta and the Bhagavad Gita which reach an international audience. She has spread the message of Vedanta through her tours to the US, Europe & Sri Lanka.
Dr. Santoke is the author of four acclaimed books – How Do You Know What You Know? and The Happiness Guarantee trilogy – designed to enhance the quality of life. Rooted in the wisdom of Vedanta yet written in a contemporary, accessible style, these works offer practical insights for modern living.
